Description

Where architectural design meets the raw beauty of the Texas Hill Country, this exceptional modern retreat offers a rare combination of privacy, craftsmanship, and thoughtful, sustainable living. Tucked away on 5 lush acres between San Marcos & Wimberley, the property is surrounded by mature oak trees, wildflowers, and spectacular pink sunsets. Designed by an award-winning architect, and masterfully built by Oliver Custom Homes, the residence is a study in intentional design. An asymmetric floorplan, dramatic architectural lines, expansive windows, and attention to detail create a home that feels deeply connected to its natural surroundings. The home was engineered with energy efficiency and long-term performance in mind, featuring underground utilities, a standing-seam metal roof, and a tankless water heater. A 950-foot water well taps into the lowest aquifer and is complemented by a 2,500-gallon concrete cistern, whole-house filtration, UV sanitation, and reverse-osmosis drinking water—offering a level of self-sufficiency rarely found in homes today. Inside, walls of glass fill the open living spaces with natural light while polished concrete floors and soaring ceilings create a clean, modern aesthetic. The chef’s kitchen is beautifully appointed with commercial-grade Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, custom cabinetry, two sinks, and striking Blue Pearl countertops. Just beyond, an outdoor kitchen with a built-in grill and sink makes entertaining effortless beneath the Hill Country sky. A detached studio/guest bedroom with a Murphy bed provides exceptional flexibility for visitors, a music studio, creative space, or a private retreat. Ideally positioned just minutes from both Wimberley & San Marcos, yet tucked away from it all, the property offers the best of both worlds. No Swine, fowl, or wild animals. Yes for Horses or donkeys-1 per acre. Families have the option of Wimberley or San Marcos ISD. Ask the listing agent for the complete list of improvements.
