Description

Perched high on Tip Top with sweeping Hill Country and Lake Travis views, this Jonestown retreat was designed to take full advantage of its incredible setting. Panoramic vistas stretch from the living room, dining area, and primary suite, creating a constant connection to the outdoors. Homeowners here love the direct access to approximately 59 acres of wildlife exempted land. Neighbors use it to enjoy the wildlife; the foxes, birds, deer, and natural surroundings give this property a peaceful, “out in the country” feel, without being too far from restaurants, shopping, and the conveniences of town. At this home, the sprawling wraparound deck offers multiple spaces and levels to relax, entertain, and soak in the scenery. At the center of the home, the oversized kitchen features a rare double-island layout that naturally serves as the hub. It extends to the living room and deck. The primary bedroom has a fireplace, and sitting area to enjoy the views. The luxury walk-in shower is also a steam room. A secondary bedroom upstairs has an attached full bathroom. The downstairs 3rd bedroom is a private retreat, with a private bedroom, living area and access to the lower, covered patio. The downstairs storage room is a generous space. It offers flexibility to be converted into an additional bathroom, creating a complete downstairs suite; finished into a workshop; or storage for your lake gear. And it’s not just about the house. Jonestown offers the lifestyle that draws people to this side of Lake Travis in the first place — close to the lake, parks, restaurants, live music, local spots, shops, and galleries, while still feeling removed from the pace of the city. 8614 Tip Top Drive offers a combination that’s getting harder to find — privacy, natural beauty, community, and room to breathe, all within reach of Austin and everyday conveniences. If you’ve been looking for more than just another house in a subdivision, this one is worth your time.
